Article 15 box office collection day 12 report is here. In the first 10 days, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article15 has made a collection of over Rs 46 crores at the box office. Now, it is eyeing to cross the mark of Rs 50 cr soon. In the first week, it minted over Rs 34.21 crores, followed by Rs 12 crores on the weekend. (Check: Kabir Singh Collection.)

Ayushmann’s latest film Article 15 has been doing a good collection despite the stiff competition from both Bollywood and Hollywood releases. Made on a small budget, the film has shown its strength by going against a comparable big budget movie like Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor.

Kabir Singh is on a record-breaking spree. Article 15 has also braved Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal starrer Spider-Man: Far From Home. Besides the movies, the torrential rains in many parts of India including Mumbai, and the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2019 have made difficult for the film to earn.

The film got good reviews from the critics as well as the audiences. This socio-political, cop drama has been inspired from a number of true life events and it proved yet again that audience favor good content. It was also selected as the opening film for the 10th edition of the London Indian film festival.

Gaurav Solanki and Anubhav Sinha have written its script. Besides Ayushmann, Article 15 also stars Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, and Manoj Pahwa in important roles. It is made on a small budget of Rs 28 crores, and has earned $1 million (~Rs 6.91 cr) in its first week.

On 2nd Monday, it witnessed a drop of only 10% compared to 2nd Friday which is a good number. Anything below 40% drop is a good number for any film. It will cross the mark of Rs 50 crores on its 2nd Tuesday, i.e., today. It appears as if it will be able to touch the mark of Rs 65 cr.

If it is to emerge as a super-hit, Article 15 will have to make a stronghold on its 3rd Friday when Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 releases.
