Bala starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role has registered an opening occupancy of 28-30% on an average. It is the figure of the morning shows. The number is good considering a tight budget Bollywood movie. The trade analysts are expecting its first day collection to be around Rs 10 crores.

As per the film trade expert Sumit Kadel, the occupancy figure should increase by 50-60% after afternoon shows. It will definitely help in increasing the BO collections of the flick. The makers have done quite a promotion as it has been in the news for a while. It has got a plot that will pull in audience to theaters.

Bala has been made on a budget of Rs 25 crores. Director Kamal Kant Chandra has accused the filmmakers of this film of stealing the script/story. Chandra claimed that it is based on his own life story. So, even before its release, the film has faced plagiarism charges. Let’s see how it affects the movie.
