Bharat movie starring Salman and Katrina has been doing well at the box office. Its collection in the first 9 days has reached to a total of Rs 172.50 crores, earning Rs 5.25 cr on its 9th day. Upon its release, it got mixed reviews, but it couldn’t stop the flick from earning. (Check: Bollywood BO Collection 2019.)

The film has continued to attract movie-goers to the cinemas on its 10th day too. Since its release, Bharat has been consistent in terms of its earnings. Eid and Salman Khan’s movies has become synonymous for the last few years. It registered the second highest opening collection by collecting Rs 42.30 cr. (Check: Upcoming Salman Movies.)

It also became Salman’s biggest opener of his career surpassing his previous record created by Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) which collected Rs 40.35 cr. It’s a directorial venture of Ali Abbas Zafar, and has been co-produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. Besides Katrina and Salman, Bharat stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover, and Disha Patani among others.

After a very good extended first-weekend collections, Bharat saw a drastic drop in the occupancy and thus collection on its 1st Monday of release. The drop was supposed to happen it wasn’t a regular 4th day in business, it was its 6th day. Also, the drop was seen a bit more due to India’s involvement in the cricket world cup 2019.

But, after Monday, it has been faring steadily in its 2nd week. Likewise, it started on a low note on 2nd Friday (day 10) registering an occupancy of around 10% on an average. But, it did increase in afternoon and evening shows to over 20 and 30% respectively. In the first week, it collected around Rs 180 cr.

Now, it is closing Rs 200 cr mark. It seems that film has now started to struggle amid the competition from other films and CWC 2019.
