Bharat movie is doing a great collection at the box office. The credit goes to the winning combination of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and director Ali Abbas Zafar who have returned together after two years of Tiger Zinda Hai. Their new Bollywood film Bharat has collected Rs 100 cr+ in in the first 4 days. (Check: Upcoming Bollywood Movies 2019.)

On the first day (Wednesday), the flick minted a whopping Rs 42.30 cr. Thus, it became the second biggest Bollywood opener of all time, just after Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan. Also, Bharat became the highest opener for Salman Khan. Previously, Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) was his highest with Rs 40.35 cr opening collection.

In the first four days, the Bharat collection stands at a staggering Rs 122.50 crores. With it, Salman Khan has become the actor with highest number of films in the coveted Rs 100-crore club. His three films have crossed the mark of Rs 300 cr while two have earned more than 200 crores, out of those 14. (Check: Bollywood Box Office 2019.)

As per the expectations and its trend, it looks like the film will earn Rs 150 cr in the extended 1st-weekend at the box office. It will be interesting to see how would India vs Australia Cricket World Cup 2019 match affect the collection of Bharat on fifth day. India vs South Africa match couldn’t do much damage, though.

Given the word of mouth, it still looks like that Salman starrer will be able to collect over 150 crores in the first weekend. Besides Salman and Katrina, the film stars Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff, and Sonali Kulkarni in important roles. It was released to around 4700 screens in India and 1300 screens overseas.

It received mixed reviews from the critics, but has got positive word of mouth from the audience. Its run-time is 2 hours and 47 minutes. Let’s know talk about today, Bharat’s Sunday collection. The film has taken a bigger and better start on its first Sunday. So, it’s clear, it’s going to a huge number today.

Speaking of the morning shows, Bharat has opened to an average occupancy of 38-39% which is around 10% higher than Saturday, yesterday. Based on the initial report, it will increase for sure in the noon and evening shows. It should be able to collect around Rs 30 crores, at least. In the noon/evening shows, it increased to over 60%, and for night, it went upto 67%.

If today’s CWC match doesn’t affect it too much, then Bharat should be hoping to earn something Rs 160 cr. The single screens are already steady with good numbers, it’s the multiplexes where the jump has been seen. It is also doing good business at the overseas box office.
