It was a big India vs Australia cricket world cup 2019 match on Sunday which affected the collections of Bharat. It is an official remake of South Korean film Ode to My Father (2014), directed by Yoon Je-kyoon. Besides Salman and Katrina, the film stars Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, and Sunil Grover in important roles.

The film has been produced under the banner of Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The movie got hit on two days due to big matches, otherwise, its collection would have been much bigger.

Speaking of 6th day collection of Bharat, the movie has taken a slow start on its 1st Monday. As far as morning shows are concerned, the average occupancy was registered to be around 18-20%. It will increase as the day progresses, just like any other day. If compared to Friday, the drop is minimal and in the range of 5-10%.

It suggest that it is maintaining a good hold. But, the ticket prices drop on Monday, as you already know. So, it will mean a further drop in the overall business on the day 6. The flick will see a jump in the evening, so the movie collection will be in the range of Friday’s. It basically means that the film is in business for a long run.

  • Bharat 6th Day Collection – Rs 10 cr (updated)
  • Bharat 6 days total box office collections – Rs 160.10 cr (updated)
  • Bharat 5 days collection – Rs 225 cr worldwide gross
  • Bharat box office collection in 5 days – Rs 177 cr (India) gross
  • Bharat overseas collection in 5 days – Rs 48 cr (~$6.9 million)

Generally, a drop of around 30% on Monday from Friday is considered a good figure. Given that Bharat is an Eid release, so Monday is its sixth day and not the usual 4th day, so a drop of under 50% will be considered good. Thus, it should collect somewhere around Rs 15 cr on Monday.
