The season 2 of Demon Slayer aka Kimetsu no Yaiba is going to release next. It is a very predictable shounen story in which the main protagonist wants to avenge the murder of his family. It features one of the typical shounen training arcs, and nearly everything is ordinary. (Check: Ballers Season 6.)
Even after being a typical shounen story, the anime has got a pretty solid plot. It has enough quality to keep a viewer engaged throughout. Studio Ufotable has created its artwork which is enough to completely blow viewers. The same studio is known for the epic long-running ‘Fate’ franchise.
The makers have done a commendable job in making its animation crisp and fluid. Almost every fight is capable of getting you hyped. It has got great backgrounds as seeing them it becomes clear that the team has put a lot of efforts in making them. The opening and closing tracks are perfect. LiSA has song them.
You can’t left out the background scores which come during the fight scenes. You can not simply forget them. Even though if you think the characters have got typical shounen personalities, you can leave them without admiring.
Kimetsu no Yaibi may seem generic but it has got everything – be it stunning visuals, incredible soundtracks, or captivating story. Anime fans will love the series for sure. They will have a good time watching it. It can be the perfect gateway for those who are fairly new to the anime world.

The first season of the anime premiered on April 6, 2019. The 1st installment of Kimetsu no Yaiba received stellar reviews. It has already become one of the best anime of 2019. Making anime to this great quality has indirectly raised the sales of the manga. So, now for obvious reasons, the fans have been asking for its new season.
Seeing such a big success, the producers of the anime have announced a Demon Slayer movie. It’s a great news for the fans. At the same time, it also means that fans will have to wait a little longer to get a full new season. As per the expectations, the Demon Slayer movie should release in Q4 2020.

Kimetsu no Yaiba English Dub
The English dubbed version of the Demon Slayer first season hasn’t been released yet. Aniplex of America has announced that its English dub episodes will air on Adult Swim. Until it premieres, you can always enjoy watching anime on Crunchyroll with its original Japanese audio and English subtitles.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Plot
The story revolves is about a young boy name Tanjirou Kamado who is struggling to support his family after the death of his father. With a poor lifestyle, the Kamado family lives a peaceful life far away from the noise of the city. To earn some money, Tanjirou starts selling charcoal in a nearby local village.
One fine day, when he was on his way back home, it becomes dark and he is forced to take shelter in a mysterious man’s home. The man warned him of the flash-eating demons lurking in the dark shadows of the forest around them. In the starting, he ignored the warning of that man.
But, one day, the grim reality hit him hard. The next day, when he reached his home, Tanjirou found his entire family dead. Only his little sister survived the attack, but she turned into a terrifying demon. He got furious and enraged by the incident. So, he decided to take revenge for it.
Also, he made sure to stand by his younger sister, who has now turned into a demon. He got to know about a strange group name ‘Demon Slayer Corps’. With the help of this group, he started taking revenge by killing demons that come across him.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Characters
Zenitsu Agatsuma
This 16-year-old boy is a member of the Demon Slaying Club, who often accompanies Tanjirou on his missions. He is petite boy with blonde hair and golden eyes, and wears a golden-colored hori jacket that matches his hair color. Zenitsu is a basically a coward who often claims that he isn’t going to live long because of his dangerous job. He has also got a habit of hitting on every cute girl that sees, and he even asks them to marry him. Even though his self-esteem is very low, he still tries to live to the expectations that others have from him. He desires to live a modest life where he can help his friends, but sometimes when he is terrified, he gets anxious and even abandons his team.
Inosuke Hashibira
Another demon at the Demon Slaying Corps. Usually travels with Tanjirou sporting a grey boar mask and never really wears a shirt. He has got feminine features on his face, and ripped & muscular body. He is short-tempered and he gets triggered by even the smallest things. The power difference between him and his opponent doesn’t bother him, he just lashes out on anyone who bothers him. Growing up all by himself and that too in the mountains has restricted him from getting along with anyone. So, he is a little self-contained, and only makes meaningful conversations with others when it’s absolutely necessary.
Nezuko Kamado
Tanjirou’s younger sister turned into a monster/demon. As a human, she used to tie her long black hair, but as a demon, she now let them loose which makes her appearance even more terrifying. Donned in a pink-colored kimono, she always keep a piece of bamboo in her mouth bounded by a red tie. Like her brother, she used to be a responsible sibling, and had cared about her near and dear ones. Even after losing most of her memories after turning into a demon, she is still kind to humans and cares for them. Now with the help of her immense will power, she resists the craving for human flesh as well as all of her demonic urges.
Tanjirou Kamado
The main protagonist of the series and a prominent member of the Demon Slaying Corps (DSC). After his entire family was slaughtered by demons, Tanjirou turns into a demon slaying man to seek revenge. His features include maroonish hair and black eyes with a birthmark on the left corner of his forehead. He truly cares about other people and is willing to do anything for the people he loves. Kamado is a determined man with eyes always set on a certain goal. He tries to achieve his goals no matter the situation is. Often he gets empathized with the demons, and it makes it hard for him to kill them. Tanjirou has got a heightened smell with which he can smell the approx position of his enemy. Moreover, he can sense the emotions of humans, demons, and animals. This power assists him in tracking them over long distances. He has got a fairly unique fighting style compared to others characters. Instead of directly attacking the opponents, he strategically plans all of his moves. After intense training, he can now jump twice the height of an average human. Sakonji taught him the “Breath of Water”, which allows him to follow a breathing pattern to control the use of oxygen in his/her blood. It helps him in significantly improving his strength and agility. With training, he can now properly control his breath which in-turn has helped him in improving his overall strength. With it, he also lasts longer in a battle against demons. He has developed ten unique fighting moves with his enhanced strength and the ability to smell the “line of interval”.
