The first computerized draw of lots for Delhi EWS and DG category admissions for Nursery, Pre-Nursery, and Class 1 has been released. It has been published online on the official website of the authority. You can check at edustud.nic.in and edudel.nic.in.

If you have got your child’s name in the list, then you can apply for admission in the school that has been allotted to you. The admission process will continue till 4th March 2019. You can download the admission forms from DOE website. The DOE has released a circular stating the last date, i.e., March 4, for the form submission.

Admissions for EWS (income having less than Rs 1,00,000 per year) and DG (SC/ST/OBC Non-creamy layer, Orphan, and Transgender, and all children living with and affected by HIV) is annually made through Computerized Lottery System in Delhi.

They have given 22% seats reserved in the Delhi schools (1700) under the Provisions of Right to Education Act.

According to a Supreme Court order, no Private Unaided School recognized/provisionally recognized by Directorate of Education (DoE) is allowed to admit any child offline at entry level classes.

3% seats within the 25% reserved seats under EWS/DG category at entry level classes including Pre-School/Nursery, Pre-Primary/KG, and Class 1 of the private unaided schools are reserved for admissions under Children with Disabilities Category for the session 2019-20.

The Private Schools recognized/provisionally recognized upto Primary level (Class 5) by East MCD and North MCD have been included in the Computerized Online Admission System for EWS/DG category admissions at entry level for which a separate order will also be issued by the MCDs.
