Good Girls Season 4: When someone lives within the ‘good’ section of the society, being a criminal takes a lot of hard work and effort. We have been able to see a very similar kind of plot and storyline in the series ‘Good Girls’. (check: Homeland season 9.)

In this show, a group of three women is left with no choice but to spend their remaining life doing all the illegal and bad things just like a criminal does. With time, they slowly came across the realization that becoming even a ‘great’ crook takes a hell lot of planning and struggle. They would eventually have to stoop so low to continue with their criminal lives.

Each and every next ‘Good Girls’ episode shows the gradual development of these ‘good’ girls i.e. they getting better in their workday by day and digging deeper into the dark world of crime as the new stages in this NBC’s comedy-drama unfold one by one.

With the launch of each and every new season, the premise of the show is becoming more and more interesting and complicated. Each and every viewer of this series has been waiting eagerly to know about the upcoming season four since the last third season ended.

When will Good Girls season 4 release (date)?

The third season of ‘Good Girls’ made it to NBC on the 16th of February this year only. The latter was previously planned to be 16 episodes long but due to the current crisis due to COVID-19 all around the world, five of them were canceled due to production issues. The third season ended with the eleventh episode broadcasting on the 3rd of May 2020.

For now, we do not have any official updates from its broadcasting network NBC about the release or production of the ‘Good Girls’ season four. Also, they have not revealed any clarification for the pending storyline of the five remaining episodes which were not broadcasted.

In fact, if we take a look at the viewers’ ratings of the third season, we can easily figure out a drastic fall when compared to that of the previous second season. On the other hand, the possibility of the continuation of the series would not be directly influenced by its popularity there only.

The online streaming network giant Netflix also has a separate contract with NBC for its exclusive streaming rights. The future of the show would depend on the response from the viewers after its premiere on the latter platform. Therefore, it must be obvious by now to the readers that there is still more time for the makers to decide about its future and update the public about their decision officially.

If the situations go in the favor of the renewal of the series and they begin the production of a brand new season, it is very unlikely that the series would make it to NBC before its usual February and March release slot next year.

Even there is no certainty about the beginning of the shooting because of the current world-wide COVID-19 pandemic. Considering all the current circumstances, it can be figured out that if the show is supposed to continue, then its next installment would be out anytime in the fourth quarter of the next year.

Good Girls Season 4 Cast: Who are returning and leaving?

As obvious, the three of the protagonists of the show ‘Good Girls’ which are Retta as Ruby Hill, Mae Whitman as Annie Marks, and Christina Hendricks as Beth Boland would definitely be there in the next season.

Along with them, some other major characters such as Ruby’s cop husband,i.e., Stanley Hill (Reno Wilson), Christopher aka Rio (Manny Montana) who is a renowned and powerful gangster with whom Beth shares a complicated relationship, Ruby’s daughter i.e. Sara Hill (Lidya Jewett), Annie’s son with Gregg,i.e., Ben Marks (Isaiah Stannard), Dean Boland (Matthew Lillard) who was Beth’s husband who cheated on her, would also be back in the fourth season.
