It’s day 19 for Kabir Singh movie at the box office. In the first 18 days of its release, Shahid Kapoor starrer has made a collection of more than Rs 237.97 cr. Now, it is all set to cross the mark of 250 crores. Besides Shahid, the film stars Kiara Advani in lead role. (Check: The Walking Dead Season 10.)

On 3rd Sunday, it earned Rs 9.61 crores, followed by Rs 4.25 cr on Monday. Per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Kabir Singh has proved to be a lottery for Shahid and the film’s producers as it is still trending in the third week. It will cross the lifetime collection of Simmba on Tuesday, today.

It is slowly and steadily inching towards Uri’s collection. Comparing its business with Salman’s Bharat, the film is closing to surpass Bharat’s earnings, and eyeing for the top spot as well for 2019. As of now, Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike is the highest Bollywood grosser of 2019.

Speaking of till-date Bollywood movies, Kabir Singh has become the 5th highest grosser ever in 3rd week. It’s only behind Baahubali: The Conclusion, Dangal, PK, and Uri: The Surgical Strike as per the reports of BoxOfficeIndia.com. Even though, it received mixed reviews from the critics, the film is being loved by the audiences.

The film’s director Sandeep Reddy Vanga went through a controversy when he tried to defend the film in an interview. He sounded very faithful and loyal to the film. It looked like he didn’t want to hear anything about the film. He also lashed out at critics for slamming the film.

Kabir Singh is the official Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. The film revolves around a surgeon who goes on a self-destructive path after his girlfriend is married to an anther man. The film released on the big screen on June 21, 2019. Another big film, Super 30 is going to release this Friday.

Still, the KS should be able to do good business. For it, Rs 275 crores looks certain, but it will be interesting to see if it can cross the mark of Rs 300 cr. Speaking of its overseas collections, Kabir Singh has earned $1.7 million which turns out to be roughly Rs 11.77 crores.

Coming to the 19th day collection of Kabir Singh, the film was steady as Monday. However, it got a little hit by India vs New Zealand CWC 2019 semi-final match. It was able to earn Rs 3.40 crores on its 2nd Tuesday. The film was made on an average budget of Rs 60 crores.
