The episode begins with Prerna recalling the day when she was with Anurag hiding from Naveen. Prerna recalls when Anurag came close to her at the moment. She is crying over her pregnancy. She recalls when Anurag holds her and she denied it saying wrong. She recalls the time when Anurag said that nothing is wrong as they’re going to get married within seven days. Prerna is upset with her pregnancy.
Anurag comes aside from the wedding podium. Mohini also comes to ask him what is he doing! Anurag apologizes that he was not able to put the vermilion on Komolika’s forehead. Mohini questions him to tell the reason behind it. Mohini says that he is about to get married and it’s not a joke. Anurag denies that he won’t be able to do it. Mohini says that he will get married and takes her, but he stops her.
Anurag says that she is worried about her reputation and people’s opinion, but did she take a look at him? Anurag asks did she look at his hands when he was garlanding Komolika. Anurag asks that she didn’t notice his hands, which were trembling at the moment. He asks Mohini that did she look at his hands when he was about to apply the vermilion on Komolika’s forehead.
Anurag denies that he can’t do this and apologizes. Mohini calms him down and asks him to listen to what she is going to say! Mohini says that everyone is talking about it and they’re not just gossiping about him, but gossiping about their entire family and their reputation is at stake. Mohini says that his father has built this reputation with such pride.

Anupam is happy and thinks to give this good news to Prerna. He calls her, but couldn’t connect. He thinks that Prerna is probably thinking that he is calling her here to stop the wedding. Anupam wishes Prerna to pick up the call so that he can tell her that Anurag has stopped this wedding as he wasn’t able to fight with his feelings for Prerna. Anupam thinks how could Anurag fight when he loves Prerna truly.
Mishka says to Ronit that she is very worried about Komolika as her ego. Mishka says that she means what if her heart is broken and what if dad stops trusting her? Mishka says that look at Dad as he’s so stressed. Siddhant is listening to all this.
Nivedita comes to Siddhant Chaubey and says that there’s nothing to worry as his brother will be here soon. Siddhant says that when Basu Publications shares got dropped, then his daughter Komolika forced him to give that huge government contract to the Basu Publications.
Siddhant says that she did so as to let their company survive and they won’t have to lose their house and end up on the streets. Siddhant says that after all this, what did her brother do? Siddhant says that Anurag ruined his reputation. Nivedita denies that it is not the actual case and it won’t happen. Siddhant says that if his and his daughter’s reputation gets ruined because of her brother, then he will ruin all their lives. Nivedita gets shocked to hear this.
Mohini says to Anurag that he doesn’t want to listen to what she has to say even then, she won’t listen to what he has to say! Mohini asks Anurag to come with her now. Anurag says that whatever he told Prerna that day was a lie. He says that he tried to lie and say all that to Prerna so that she hates him and goes away from him.
He says that somehow, he was even successful in making Prerna hate her, but after seeing all this, he realized that his heart doesn’t allow him to do that and cannot refrain from following his heart. Mohini says that Prerna has trapped him. Anurag says that Prerna thought he loves Mishka and he was the one who did everything.
He says that he has promised Prerna to marry her. Nivedita comes and says that Siddhant Chaubey is in great anger. Anurag says that he has made a mistake so he will fix it. Mohini says that first answer her questions. Mohini ask Anurag to get married to Komolika. Anurag says that he has already promised Prerna.
Prerna is emotional and crying after thinking that her child’s father is getting married to someone else.
Anurag says that he will get married to Komolika and complete all the rituals except the ritual to apply vermilion. Mohini says that a wedding isn’t complete without vermilion. Mohini comes to Komolika and says that Anurag can’t perform the ritual to apply the vermilion. Komolika says that it’s not a big deal and she will handle it just bring him to the wedding dais.
Mohini comes to Anurag and takes him with her.
Komolika comes to say that Anurag won’t put the vermilion on Komolika’s forehead in front of everyone. Komolika says to Anurag that she has told everyone that he can’t do this ritual so now, he can tell them the reason also.
Precap: The doctor asks Prerna to give her husband’s number. Prerna denies that he will not come. Anurag ties the nuptial chain around Komolika’s neck. She runs and her dupatta catches fire. She falls on the road. Anurag gets married to Komoika.
