The episode begins with Anurag assaulting Prerna that she has accepted Naveen Babu’s proposal without a second thought just because he’s filthy rich. Anurag says that he wonders to what extent she could have rather gone for him. Prerna slaps Anurag and says that being the daughter of an employee of his dad loved him whole-heartedly but he abused her feelings. (Check: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 written updates.)
She says that he’s not at fault as he hasn’t experienced love, yet. Prerna says that today she pray to introduce him to this feeling so that he understand about true love, but may he never have that with him, no matter how much he begs for. She turns around and hits with something. Anurag tries to hold her, but she pushes him back saying not to touch her. (Check: ICSI CS Result 2018.)
She leaves after saying all this. Anurag thinks that his job is done and now Prerna will start to hate him. Prerna gets emotional and recalls when Anurag belittled her and was getting engaged to Komolika. Prerna sits down at a place thinking that she can’t become weak and shouldn’t get broken down.
Anurag is crying and Mohini comes to see him. He wipes his tears and Mohini comes with Nivedita to ask whether he is fine or not. Mohini says that he has seen it himself about the consequences of giving so much importance to a middle-class girl. Mohini says that the girl who doesn’t have any status to step into this house, she has insulted him so badly in front of others.
Komolika also comes at the moment. Anurag questions that what does she think Prerna would have said? Anurag says that he had insulted her that’s because whatever he’d said, he doesn’t think Prerna would ever forget it in her life. Mohini denies saying that whatever he said was the truth.
Nivedita also says that whatever he said to her was the fact and this kind of girls have only one motive to marry a rich guy and live the entire life with his wealth. Komolika tries to interrupt Nivedita but couldn’t stop her. Mohini says that they shouldn’t even talk about girls like her.
Komolika interrupts saying that she needs to talk to Anurag privately, but no one could hear it. Nivedita says that Prerna raised her hand on Anurag in front of everyone and so she’ll pay for this. Komolika shouts that she has been repeatedly saying she needs to talk to Anurag in private so please give her the time. Mohini and Nivedita leave.
Komolika says that she knows what he is going through at this moment as a girl came and gave him a mouthful in front of everyone. According to her, she knows how it feels and she can understand. Komolika says that Prerna is in love with him and just tried to save it as he might have so many girls like her in his life.
Komolika says that even she had boys in her life who went crazy for her but this doesn’t mean that they will try to exercise any rights on them. She says that Prerna has slapped her husband-to-be and she’ll break every hand which raises on him. Anurag screws Komolika’s hand, saying that if she tries to harm or even come close to Prerna, then he’ll make sure that she repent for this.
He says that he loves Prerna very much so if she’ll try to harm her, then he’ll forget the deal and engagement. Anurag leaves her hand and Komolika turns around saying that she’ll wait for that day when he’ll start loving her with such passion and asks him to start his practice from now.
He says that there no need for practice because there was no love between him and Komolika nor it’ll happen. He says that this marriage is just a deal and leaves. Komolika thinks that someday he’ll fall in love with her because she’ll win this challenge.
Anurag comes into his room and Anupam also enters asking what does he did all this! Anurag says that this was a right step. Anupam says that he won’t stop himself now from not interfering. Anurag asks him for not caring about him.
Prerna reveals everything in front of Shivani and Vinita hears all this. Vinita comes in and slaps Prerna. Anupam moves ahead to reveal everything to Prerna but Anurag folds his hands.
Vinita shouts at Prerna that she doesn’t have any shame begging for love and not even thought about her dad. Vinita says that they might not be rich, but have self-respect and she ruined her father’s reputation.
Anupam says to Anurag that the path he has chosen is filled with pain. Anurag says his story begins from today and Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
Vinita hugs Prerna as she is crying badly. She consoles Prerna saying that she had loved the wrong person. Vinita says that Prerna can cry today, but from tomorrow she won’t even cry for a single time for Anurag. Vinita takes Shivani with her leaving Prerna alone.
Mohini asks to continue the engagement and Mishka is shocked by the situation. Anurag puts the ring on Komolika’s finger. Komolika also completes the engagement rituals.
Vinita comes to wake up Prerna and gets shattered watching her. Vinita goes outside the room and calls Prerna. Prerna listens to Vinita and comes to her bed from the ground. Shivani looks at everything and questions her mother. Vinita says that she wants her to become strong. Vinita asks Prerna to promise her not to cry for Anurag anymore.
Precap: Anurag and Komolika’s marriage date has been fixed. Anupam comes to Prerna asking to stop the marriage. Prerna denies saying she would come to the wedding with the curses for them!
