Lost in Space Renewed for Season 2

It’s already official now that the series has been renewed for its next installment. It was already done in May 2018, and it has confirmed once again that the show will return soon. Many people had started thinking its idea has been removed from the programming. It’s because they thought the renewal took place more than one year ago, and yet nothing concrete has been seen.

The writer of the sci-fi drama, Matt Sazama revealed that they had started the production process even before Netflix gave them green light. As per him, the fans will get to see more adventures as the Robinsons family tries to adjust everything to survive on a new planet on which their ship landed.

CinemaBlend quoted him saying that they have been working on scripts and think they are ready to go. The writer thinks that they have really done some crazy stuff with the plot and everything.

LiS Season 2 Cast: Who will return?

As far as the series’ cast is concerned, the whole Robinsons family including John (Toby Stephens), Maureen (Molly Parker), Judy (Taylor Russel), Penny (Mina Sandwell), Will (Max Jenkins), June Harris (Parker Posey), Don (Ignacio Serricchio), and the Robot will return for sure.

There have reports of some new characters being added. They will be seen in the upcoming episodes. One of the characters is Commander Jiang, the commander of the Resolute.

Lost in Space Season 2: Release Date Leaked?

There has been no official word from the side of Netflix regarding its premiere date. However, there have been reports suggesting that it should arrive in November 2019. The rumors took a new route after Amazon posted the Lost in Space novel on its site.

Another co-incidental thing is that its release date coincides with the debut of Lost in Space s2 on Netflix.
