Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has complete its 9 days run at the box office. It received a good opening weekend collection. Now, it’s the time for its 2nd weekend. After taking a dip in its business on second Friday, the film saw a little growth today (2nd Saturday). Kangana Ranaut starrer is now facing a huge competition. (check: dance plus 4 winner.)

January 11 release, already a blockbuster movie and a holdover, Uri: The Surgical Strike is giving Manikarnika a huge competition. It has refused to slowdown and earning near about similar as of the last Friday’s releases. The good word of mouth is holding up the movie starring Vicky Kaushal in lead role.

The flick starring and directed by Kangana Ranaut collected Rs 3.50 cr on its 8th day, making its 8 days total collection to Rs 64.65 crores. On the same day, the latest release Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga earned Rs 3.3 crore while Uri minted Rs 3.35 crores. Kangana’s film has topped the box office for the second time in a row.

It was released in three languages simultaneously – Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie has earned majorly from its Hindi version, while other versions didn’t fare well. Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Thackeray, a biopic was also released on the same day as of Manikarnika’s. Released in two languages – Hindi and Marathi, it has earned major amount from its Marathi version.

Speaking of 9th day collection of Manikarnika, then it witnessed a little growth on 2nd Saturday in terms of its occupancy report compared to yesterday. The increase in the business is due to the fact that Sunday (tomorrow) is a holiday, so the evening will attract more footfalls compared to normal weekdays. Thus, it would collect around Rs 4.5 cr.
