Ajith’s movie Nerkonda Paarvai released on August 8, 2019, has set worldwide box office on fire. On the first day, NP’s collection was recorded around Rs 25 crores just from the Tamil Nadu state of India. It also stars Shraddha Srinath, Abirami Venkatachalam, and Andrea Tariang. H Vinoth has directed the film while Boney Kapoor has produced the same. It has been one of the most anticipated movies of the recent times. On its first day, Nerkonda Paarvai opened to house-packed shows throughout the nation. It minted a huge collection on Thursday, but it couldn’t beat Ajith’s last movie Viswasam.

As per the trade reports, NP earned around Rs 1.58 crores in Chennai alone. The number is even huge as the film released on a working day. Now, its opening collection stands on top in Chennai in 2019.

Not only in India, it also opened huge in the US as it collected Rs 10 lakh ($16,915) on its 1st day. The film’s screening took place just two days ahead of its launch. The press was present for the premiere show, and it gave the film a huge boost. Besides this, the film received a huge positive reviews from the Singapore screening as well.

It is the official Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster movie, Pink. It revolves around consent, women’s safety, and double standards present in our society. The film has got a fantastic response from the urban audience. It also met with the good advance booking.
