Now You See Me 3: Though there are many probabilities about the arrival of ‘Now You See Me 3’ but the official data about the production and release of the third installment in the movie franchise still seems to be lacking for now. (Check: Boruto Chapter 43.)
Probable story base for the third movie in the series:
The protagonists in the movie would be the same Horsemen as before i.e. their leader Dylan Rhodes Shrike which is played by Mark Ruffalo, Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) and Lula May (Lizzy Caplan).
‘Now You See Me 2’ was again seen featuring Michael Caine who plays the role of Arthur Tressler in the movie which points towards his major involvement in the baseline of the franchise. This antagonist character proved himself to be a source of threat for the Eye.
At the end of the last movie, it was shown that Dylan with the four Horsemen for the very first time meets the other true members of the Eye at a place which appeared to be the Eye’s headquarters. It was when the Eye was truly exposed to the viewers. Also the revelation about Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman) as a member of the Eye was also an Easter egg.
Though, the Eye was there since the beginning but the first installment merely provided few faded hints and clues about its existence. It was only until the second part that a more brief introduction was given to the latter.
Though, there were also the appearances of the team of elite illusionists and magicians but their respective roles were not much significant in both the parts. So, there are still many possibilities that the existence of the Eye might be facing some unknown threats.
Since, there are many more mysteries and secrets which were left unrevealed at the end of the second installment, it is very likely to happen that the past, present and future of the Eye would be spot for limelight around which the whole story of the third part is supposed to revolve.
Also it can be easily noticed that these four Horsemen seems to be few of the most known and skilled members of the Eye. So the best way to test the limits of their capabilities would obviously be to make them face and deal with a much more severe issue ever which could also be a major threat for the Eye itself.
All of this combined together would surely make a super-enticing package by the makers to offer the fans to see.
Its production and release status related updates:
It sounds very disappointing for the fans to know that it has been quite a few years from when we officially heard about it last time. The drafting of plans for it was officially confirmed by Lionsgate in the year 2015.
By the end of 2016 there were also news referring to the appointment of fresh writers by its production house to begin writing the new script for it. It is already 2020 now and there has been no comment or claim by the cast or makers since then.
