Oden and his Nine Red Scabbards might end up with their deaths in a horrible way i.e. boiling alive in a pot if Orochi’s plan successfully comes into action in the chapter 971 of ‘One Piece’. Even despite all this, there still seems chances that the plans of Kaido and Orochi might not work in the manner as they desired them to. (Check: One Piece Chapter 970.)
In the last chapter of ‘One Piece’ which was released recently, Oden could be seen impressively facing Kaido in his dragon form which showed how strong his powers actually were. He was so strong that eventually Kaido, who is also known as one of the strongest fighters on land got injured at his hands.
This wound which Oden caused with the help of Enma and Ame no Habakiri left a permanent scar shaped like an x mark on the Yonko. Even after being so strong, Kaido had to use false and unfair means to beat Oden. For this, Kurozumi Hiigurashi disguised himself as Oden’s son by using the devil’s fruit.
All this distracted Daimyo of Kuri. Seeking advantage of this situation Kaido very cleverly knocked down Oden unconscious by attacking him fiercely.
The Nine Red Scabbards seemed to be greatly affected as their leader was knocked down. Therefore they starting losing their morale might have to face death in a horrible way by execution through boiling alive in a pot in the upcoming chapter 971.
Fortunately, things might not go the way as planned by Kaido and Orochi and Oden and his companions might be saved from execution. The hint pointing towards their survival is the fact that the majority of the Nine Red Scabbards are still alive for now.
One of them would probably try his luck and would certainly put his efforts to rescue them all in the chapter 971 of ‘One Piece’. We were already given a clue about this anonymous person in the previous chapter.
Though, Oden and his companion warriors were seen successfully captured by Kaido’s men but luckily, Shinubo managed to flee the place unharmed and would possibly make a rescue attempt to save the others.
She would probably be able to help Oden and his men to escape from the place in the chapter 971 of ‘One Piece’. Unfortunately, it would not be as easy as it appears to be to save them from execution for her because one of the men from Kaido’s army would get an idea about her rescue plan.
Therefore, another series of numerous fights would be triggered thereafter. The next upcoming chapter 971 of ‘One Piece’ would most oftenly consist of events where Oden could be seen struggling to help his people and family to get freed from the clutches of Kaido and Orochi.
Toki would get some time to use her time travelling powers to send Momonosuke with the other captives into the future. All this was possible, complete credit goes to Oden who managed to extract some time for them to do so.
At the same time, Oden’s sister was parted from them to be left behind with some of the other warriors from the Oden’s Nine Red Scabbards.
To our dissatisfaction, Oden would be again knocked down while facing Kaido’s men, so that his men and family could finally succeed in escaping. This time his injuries are much more severe than they were before. Anyway, this is much more acceptable for him to die saving his people and family than being boiled in a pot alive.
One Piece Chapter 971 Release Date
Sadly, all the readers would not be able to get this chapter 971 of ‘One Piece’ until a few more weeks. The release of this chapter of the manga series is put on hold for now by the makers. It is supposed to be out on the 16th of February this year.
