In the episode 902 of One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro of the Straw Hat Pirates infiltrated Bakura Town to save Otama as he had been kidnapped and brought there. Moments after entering the town, the SHP ran into a group of enemies, but Luffy knocked them down using the power of Conqueror’s Haki. (check: Wakfu Season 4.)
After getting inside the Bakura Town, Luffy and Zoro encountered Okiku’s suitor Urashima. They saw him in an ongoing sumo wrestling tournament in which he was one of the top participants. Urashima told people that Okiku is his wife, and ordered his men to bring the lady samurai to him.
Okiku was reluctant to go to him, so she ended up cutting Urashima’s topknot. It made the yokozuna furious. Then, Urashima became reluctant to make Okiku his wife. Now, all he wanted was to kill her. However, Luffy won’t let him hurt the lady samurai. The preview for One Piece 903 features Urashima showing his power against Luffy.
The next episode of One Piece is titled “A Climatic Sumo Battle! Straw Hat versus the Strongest Ever Yokozuna!”. This segment will continue to show the sumo wrestling match between Luffy and Urashima. The official synopsis reads the following:
“A sumo match between Urashima, the yokozuna from the Land of Wano, and Luffy. The enraged Urashima’s continuous slaps rush at Luffy. But then, Luffy’s killer technique blasts in the heated ring. In the hard bout that draws everyone’s attention, which of them will be declared the winner?”
Following the tradition of sumo wrestling, Luffy is featured throwing salt in the ring before officially starting his match against Urashima. The Yokozuna will try to take a lead by initiating the fight with a barrage of slaps. But, Luffy is too fast for him and he will successfully land a critical strike at him.
Undoubtedly, Urashima is incredibly powerful in terms of strength, but he doesn’t stand a chance against Luffy. Another interesting thing to note is that Urashima’s physical attacks aren’t going to have any effect on a rubberman life Luffy. As seen the preview, Luffy appears to be serious to take on the fight.
You should note that Urashima only needs to send Luffy out of the ring in order to win the match. In the preview, we can see both of them on the verge of falling out of the ring. Luffy is going to use one of his special techniques against his rival.
