It’s the 8th day for Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba today. Let’s check how much Simbha is going to earn on its 2nd Friday of release. The film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar has already set many records for them. It has already crossed the mark of Rs 150 cr by minting Rs 11.75 cr on the first Thursday (yesterday). By the end of 1st weekend, Simba collection stands at 150.50 crores in India. The director, Rohit has once again shown that he knows where the pulse of the audience lies. Ranveer plays the role of a corrupt police officer who later turns good and fight for justice. Sara is the female lead and plays Ranveer’s love interest in the movie. The cop drama opened to Rs 20.72 on first Friday. And then completely utilized the holiday period to collect moolah.

In the first six days of business, it has already Rs 50 crore from the overseas box office. Though it earned mixed reviews from the critics, the audience completely liked the film. The collections are the result of the positive word of mouth from the movie-goers. The team thanked each other forĀ  the film’s success. The producer, director, and actor took it to Twitter to share their thoughts.

It became the 8th film for Rohit to enter the 100 cr club while it’s the 4th for Ranveer in the same club. It’s Sara Ali Khan’s second movie after Kedarnath. As per the trend, it seems that the flick is going to earn more in the coming days. It is very much possible that it would be successful in earning 200 cr by the end of second weekend. It’s because there isn’t any big release this week.

Simmba is running on around 4900 screens worldwide. There are cameos from Housefull team and Ajay Devgn as Singham from the film series. The screen count has been reduced today. But, it has registered the morning occupancy to be around 18% which is more or less similar to yesterday (Thursday). So, it’s going to rule the box office in the second week too. It is super hit and almost certain to bag the Blockbuster hit status.
