Thackeray Celeb Movie Review: Bollywood Appreciates Nawazuddin Siddiqui

The much anticipated biopic Bollywood movie Thackeray based on the life of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray is going to be released on January 25, 2019, Friday. Before the public release, there was a film screening held and some industry celebrities watched it. After watching the flick, the viewers couldn’t resist them from appreciating the lead actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the portrayal of the said person. (check: Manikarnika review.)

Directors – Rohit Shetty and Shoojit Sircar were among those who got the watch the film before worldwide release. Shoojit took it to the micro-blogging platform to air his voice. He tagged Nawazuddin as one of the finest Bollywood actors having sharp skills who can understand the character better than anybody and indulge into the character faster than others.

On Wednesday night, Rohit told media that Nawaz has brilliantly portrayed Balasaheb’s role with full responsibility. He also mentioned that Siddiqui has properly depicted the Thackeray’s character. It looks like Nawazuddin has once again given a spectacular performance and everyone seems to be praising his performance. It should make the film worth a watch just as most of his other films.

Not only two of them, but Shatrughan Sinha also took it to the Twitter and shared his views. In short, he said that Nawaz has done full justice to the role and character. The list doesn’t end here, there are many who appreciated the film.

Thackeray releases in theaters on 25th January. Ahead of its release, the screening was attended by the lead actor himself, along with Amrita Rao, who plays Meena Tai, and her husband Anmol. Sanjay Raut who has written the script was also at the venue. Abhijit Panse has directed the movie. Upon its release, the film will clash with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
