The adventure comedy film Total Dhamaal has set the box office on fire. In the first 4 days, the movie’s total collection has reached to Rs 72.25 crores. The Indra Kumar directorial collected Rs 9.85 crores on its 2nd Monday. It features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, and Riteish Deshmukh, among others.

The collections from the mass circuits and single screens is very good. The business from metro cities and multiplexes has been good. There are expectations of earning more than Rs 95 crores in the first week. Total Dhamaal opened its collection by collecting Rs 16.50 crores on Friday.

Then, it followed by minting Rs 20.40 cr on Saturday, Rs 25.50 cr on Sunday, and Rs 9.85 cr on Monday. The film is earning better in the mass entertainers. Families and kids’ audience are loving it. That’s why it is trending in the tier-2 cities. Upon its release, the film got mixed reviews from the film critics.

It’s the positive word of mouth that is helping Total Dhamaal in growing its business. If it can hold well in the coming days, then it will definitely turn into a big hit film. Total Dhamal is the third film in the Dhamaal franchise, and has been made on a budget of Rs 125 crores. Not only on home turf, it is doing good business overseas.

In the first three days, Total Dhamaal has collected over $3.41 million (~Rs 24.50 crores) from the international markets. Now, coming to the 5th day of release, as per the samples, the film is holding pretty well in the morning shows. The drop in the occupancy has been a little bit here and there.

But, overall, the numbers are similar to that of Monday. At some place, no drop has been registered. Total Dhamaal has opened to an average occupancy of 15% in the morning shows. It was 25% on Friday, 35% on Saturday, and over 45% on Sunday.

In the first four days, it has collected more than Rs 70 crores. By the end of 5th day, Total Dhamaal will cross the mark of Rs 80 crores as far as its collection is concerned. It has been faring pretty well at the box office.
