Game of Thrones fans are well awared about the Director’s love to make new twists to the story. There is a good chance that Winterfell will get more time because Night King actually went to take over the King’s Landing first before Winterfell.
This theory uses few important concepts. First of all, in the last season we’ve actually seen the wall falling from Winterfell and in the ending moments of the S8E2 we’ve seen the army of dead getting prepared for something, maybe breaking out the other wall.
We can’t ignore the fact that Night King is very well aware about Danereys and her two dragons which are well-enough to give him a tough war. Moreover, Its also true that Bran didn’t got many visuals in the last episode while he was getting continious visuals in the previous ones when Night King was at the door.
We’ve seen how Daenerys Targaryen got a vision of destroyed throne room in King’s Landing, if you notice the slight details from the vision, the throne was cold as ice with no symptoms of the life. Also, Bran got a good vision of dragon flying over the King’s landing.
Night King knows that Red Women (There are theories that she will come with her own army to save the winterfell), Bran and Daenerys are going to be tough on him. While King’s Landing is the perfect option to be attacked with no signs of threat to the dead army, on bonus points he will get more dead to join the army.
If you rank the top 10 powers of the Night King, his intelligence will definitely rank on the higher stakes. He is probably the oldest in town with supernatural powers. He will not take the risk of getting burned from two fire spitting dragons.
So this Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 Theory could be true or not. But one thing is quite sure and which is that we’re going to have some crazy fun in this 82 minutes episode.
