The episode begins with Mr. Bajaj and Prerna attending Mr. Mehra’s son’s wedding. After attending the function, Mr. Bajaj and Prerna return home. Prerna stands to take her luggage. Mr. Bajaj asks her to go inside as her luggage will be carried by the driver. Prerna denies and takes her luggage herself. (Check: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 Written Updates.)
Prerna’s bag fall and Mr. Bajaj was about to pick it up, but Prerna denies that she can manage. Both of them open the gate and Mr. Bajaj’s Masi and Tanvi (Masi’s adopted daughter) is standing there. She asks to conduct the welcome ceremony for Prerna. Masi says to Mr. Bajaj that he didn’t wait for her to conduct the marriage.
Mr. Bajaj says that if he got involved in telling her, then it might have become late for him to marry Prerna as she would have married someone else. Masi says that he should not talk about risk and everything in the house. Masi conducts Aarti for Mr. Bajaj and Prerna to welcome in the house.
Masi asks Prerna to complete the welcome rituals and enter the home together. Masi compliments Prerna and asks the servants to begin celebrations for her daughter-in-law. Masi asks Prerna and Mr. Bajaj to fresh up. Mr. Bajaj apologizes for not telling Prerna about his Masi. Prerna says that she didn’t have any interest in it.
Nivedita comes to Anurag’s room and gets shocked to see him with so many documents and paper all around. Nivedita asks Anurag to forget Prerna and move on. Anurag questions whether she will be with him in his work? Nivedita says that she will not be with him if his obsession is related to Prerna.
Anurag questions if his obsession is to destroy Mr. Bajaj? Anurag says that he destroyed their company also. Nivedita says that she promises to be with him. Anupam is worried that Anurag will do everything to bring back Prerna.
Mr. Bajaj is taking a shower in his room. Prerna comes inside the room with her luggage. Mr. Bajaj is shouting thinking the servant is in the room that he will fire the servant. Prerna thinks that he is so rude to servants. Prerna opens his wardrobe to take out the bathrobe and give it to Mr. Bajaj.
Prerna looks at some documents fallen from his wardrobe which is Basu file. Prerna starts reading the file. Mr. Bajaj comes out from the shower. Prerna questions why is he having this file? Mr. Bajaj says that it is related to Anurag Basu’s information. Prerna says that they had a deal so what is this file doing with him?
Mr. Bajaj says that it is not something which she is understanding. A servant comes there to inform Prerna that her mother has come to meet her. Prerna goes down to talk with his mother.
Prerna gets emotional and comes to hug her mother, but Veena denies her to maintain a distance. Veena says that she is telling a lie and she should tell her about the condition which made her marry Mr. Bajaj. Prerna says that Mr. Bajaj is better than Anurag. Veena slaps her and says that Mr. Bajaj has done so bad with Anurag.
Veena says that she knows the reason behind Mr. Bajaj’s purpose to marry her.
Precap: Prerna looks at Mr. Bajaj’s daughter who is Sneha. Mr. Bajaj tells Prerna that he married her due to his daughter. Anurag bribes the dealers to help him break Mr. Bajaj. Mr. Bajaj says that he has brought a mother for his daughter!
