Saaho starring Prabhas and Shraddha has taken a massive opening at the box office worldwide. Speaking of its first/1st day collection, the movie is going to beat Avengers easily in India, but not Baahubali. Even before releasing, it has got a huge buzz and speculations around it. Currently, it has become the only talk of the Indian movie industry as it has been released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam. This directorial venture of Sujeeth is a spy-thriller featuring lots of twists and high octane action scenes. As per several trade analysts, Saaho is going to set a number of records.
According to them, there is bad news for the fans expecting it to break the SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali’s record. There is no doubt in the fact that it has got a great response across the world, but the first day collection of Saaho will fall short of Baahubali: The Conclusion opening box office record.
Besides this, there is one more bad news for the film. With its opening, the movie is garnering negative reviews in a significant amount. Indirectly, it will put hurdles for the film in its business in the days to come. But, everything is not bad for it as the Hindi version is expected to earn more than Rs 15 crores on Friday itself.
Collecting all the 5 versions’ business, Saaho is expected to cross the mark of Rs 70 crores on its opening day. The Telugu version is expected to mint around Rs 40 crores alone. If everything goes as per the prediction, it will overcome the BO records of Avengers: Endgame which earned Rs 53 cr on day 1.
On the other hand, Baahubali: The Conclusion minted around Rs 122 crores on its first day at the box office. Besides Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, Saaho also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey, and Jackie Shroff in important roles. The Hindi version opened to an average of 40% occupancy in the morning shows.
