Chhichhore, the latest directorial venture of Nitesh Tiwari has been enjoying a fantastic collection at the box office. It has created havoc with its moment since it hit the theaters. It has done a good business in its second week. The film will slow down its 2nd Friday onwards as it will face competition from four films. (Check: Dream Girl Collection.)

This Friday marks the release of three new Bollywood films – Sanjay Dutt starrer Prassathanam, Sunny Deol directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass starring his son Karan Deol, and The Zoya Factor starring Sonam Kapoor and Dalqueer Salman. Chhichhore crossed the coveted mark of 100 cr on its 2nd Wednesday.

The film has fared well on its second weekdays too by collecting Rs 4.02 cr on Monday, followed by Rs 4.11 cr on Tuesday, Rs 3.30 cr on Wednesday, and Rs 3.51 cr on Thursday. Thus, it made an overall business of Rs 109.30 cr in its first two weeks. Dream Girl was released one week after Chhichore.

Since its release, Dream Girl has enjoyed its dream run at the box office. However, Chhichhore is still being enjoyed among youngsters throughout the country. Moreover, it reminds hostelers of their hostel and college days. It is a good college drama to watch, and got mixed reviews upon its opening.

The release of three new films today, Friday, September 20, will further limit the growth of Sushant Singh starrer Chhichhore. Apart from Sushant, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Naveen Polishetty, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tushar Pandey, and Saharsh Kumar among others.
