The first season of Cobra Kai, one of the YouTube Premium series premiered on the 2nd of May in the year 2018 while the second season was dropped on the 24th of April in 2019.
Cobra Kai whose concept is inspired by that of the Karate Kid film series is also one of the most popular American comedy action drama based shows on YouTube Premium. The second season of the show was able to gain much popularity which was more than enough to force the makers to renew the show with a brand new season three.
The third season of Cobra Kai was supposed to release in the month of May 2020 after it was officially announced about eleven months before from now. Unfortunately, due to the global crisis, the situation which has arisen due to the world-wide spread of coronavirus, the international market of entertainment-production related businesses around the globe have been shaken and is struggling to manage its existence and continuation as of now.
Almost, all the shooting and filming activities for any movie, series, or reality show, etc. have been put on a hold for an indefinite period of time all around the world due to this quarantine period.
The upcoming season three of ‘Cobra Kai’ would continue to bring back some old and existing characters from the previous seasons and some new faces as well.

There is a very high probability that the third season of ‘Cobra Kai’ might bring to the viewers a competition like combat between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do dojos. This rage between the two groups was sparked in season two and there is a lot more to come in the upcoming season three. The third season of ‘Cobra Kai’ is also supposed to bring back Johnny Lawrence (the original ‘Karate Kid’) this time.
To sum up, the major highlights of the upcoming season three would include the twists and turns in the relationship of Carmen and Johnny, the control of Cobra Kai Dojo that would be taken over by Kreese and many more exciting and unknown things are also on their way.

Though there are not any official updates released by the makers about its release schedule to date after considering the current circumstances, the latter season would not drop on the YouTube Premium before the month of December in the current year.
