The Kasauti Zindagi Ki 2 episode begins with Mohini stops the engagement and asks Veena that she should also give something to Ronit. Mohini says to Veena that she is middle class but her daughters marry rich people so she should also gift something precious to Ronit. Veena says that nobody talked about Adhan Pradhan’s ritual so she dropped the idea. Mohini says that she can’t step back from the rituals like this.
Kukki says that Mohini said that girls and boys are the same. Komolika says that the difference is over in the young generation but in-laws will perform the rituals according to their generation. Komolika says that she is very happy that Ronit has brought Shivani in just a single saree at their house.
Mohini says to Komolika that she has given her rights to take all the decisions but when it is about a wedding then she won’t compromise. Moloy interrupts her but Mohini shuts him that he needs not to perform any drama. Mohini says that Adhan Pradhan was performed in their marriage and in their kid’s marriage too.
Mohini says that they even gave a luxurious life to Anupam too. Mohini asks the priest to make them understand it. The priest says that it is correct but only the one who accepts this ritual performs it now. Moloy thinks why is Mohini forcing on Adhan Pradhan’s ritual.
Shivani questions Ronit what is happening? Ronit says that if she has any doubts, then he will leave all the family relations now. Shivani says that she would never want him to break his family relations because of her.
Mr. Bajaj says that they are also against this ritual but Ronit will be gifted a precious gift from the Sharma family now. Mohini says that the gift should be long-lasting too. Mr. Bajaj says how will be CEO’s position at their Bajaj City Project for Ronit? Everyone gets shocked after hearing him. Mr. Bajaj says that they needed a trustworthy CEO so Ronit will be a good one. Komolika and Mohini get happy and recall how she taught her to speak everything.

Prerna questions Mr. Bajaj why did he take this decision? Prerna says that this project is so important for her but he gave it to Ronit. Mr. Bajaj says that he did it for her as he heard Ronit speaking to Shivani that he can leave everyone for her to make her fall in his words so they can’t take any risk. He says that this is Komolika’s plan and not Mohini. Mr. Bajaj says that he mistook that she would have trusted his judgment. Prerna thinks about how should she apologize from him now!
Moloy says to Rakhi and Nivedita that he is upset by her mother’s acts. Komolika and Mohini come there. Komolika says that Mohini is only performing rituals. Rakhi questions Komolika why it was necessary to make a ritual such an issue? Komolika says to Nivedita that her sister lives abroad so she doesn’t know about the elder’s thoughts and respect them. Komolika takes Mohini from there.
