Republic Day 2019 Parade Live Streaming: It’s the 70th Republic day of India this year. It is celebrated every year on 26 January. This time, it falls on Saturday. For the occasion, the South African President Cyril Ramaphose will grace the celebrations at the India Gate as the guest of honor. Besides him, First Lady Dr Tshepo Motsepe will attend the function. The parade on Republic Day signifies a lot as it shows India’s military strength and unity in diversity with various cultural programmes. This grand parade is held every year in the national capital of India, New Delhi. It starts after paying honors and tribute to the Amar Jawan Jyoti, which is a memorial to fallen soldiers at Rajpath, by the Prime Minister of India.
Every year, thousands of citizens arrive to watch the historic parade live. The people of the country get excited watching this and fill with patriotism feeling. For the parade to take place properly, the Delhi Police has taken proper security measures. As far as the number is concerned, around 3000 police personnel have been deployed for the purpose.
To manage the security and traffic properly, they will monitor and manage the route diversions and ensure a safe and sound passage for the people who have come to watch and attend the parade. There will be enforced elaborate traffic arrangements as well as restrictions for everybody to put the smooth conduct of the parade from Vijay Chowk to Red Fort.

The Delhi Traffic Police (DTP) has released the relevant information. According to it, the parade will commence at 9:50 am from Vijay Chowk to the Red Fort, passing through Rajpath, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Netaji Subhash Marg. Before the parade, there will be a special function at the India Gate at 9 am on January 26.

On TV (Television) – Doordarshan
If you have a working television and a proper connection, and want to watch the parade on tv, then you can switch to DD National for the same purpose. It will be broadcasted on the same channel. It is a free to air channel.
On Internet – Live Streaming – YouTube
If you don’t want to go for the tv option or don’t have the television for the purpose, then you can go for the online/internet option. The broadcast of the parade will be done online on the official YouTube channels of Doordarshan and PIB India.

Traffic Restrictions on January 26, 2019
If you don’t know, no vehicle is permitted to enter on the Rajpath, from Vijay Chowk to India Gate, starting from 6 pm of R-Day eve – 25 January to until the parade concludes. The traffic police has released an advisory that states no cross traffic will be allowed on Rajpath from 11 pm on January 25 at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Man Singh Road until the parade finishes. Moreover, the ‘C’-Hexagon-India Gate will remain close for vehicles from 2 am on January 26 till the parade crosses Tilak Marg. Also, there will not be any vehicular movement on Tilak Marg, BSZ Marg, and Subhash Marg in both directions from 10 am onwards as told by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) – Alok Kumar.
