Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput is still ruling the box office. In the first 10 days (till 2nd weekend), the film has made a collection of Rs 94.06 cr as reported by Taran Adarsh. It has refused to slow down as it collected Rs 10 cr on second Sunday. It is now facing a tough competition from Dream Girl. (Check: Dream Girl Collection.)

Today, Chhichhore will enter the coveted club of Rs 100 cr. It has been performing phenomenally well at the BO. The weekend 2 was extremely crucial as it was Ayushmann’s Dream Girl to release. Still, the film performed very well. It seems that the movie has cast some kind of spell.

In the second week, Chhichhore collected Rs 5.34 cr on Friday, followed by Rs 9.42 cr on Saturday, and Rs 10.47 cr on Sunday, making 10 days total collection to Rs 94.06 crores in India. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh also compared the week-wise performance of Chhichore with the lifetime business of Sushant’s 2016 release MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

The MS Dhoni biopic has been the actor’s highest grossing film yet. Adarsh said that the latest film has the potential to challenge actor’s old record. In the first week, Chichore collected Rs 68.83 cr while Rs 25.23 cr in the second week. The film is a story of a group of college friends.

It is a college-hostel drama made in two parts in which the college mates meet after a long time when one of them needs others help. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, and Saharsh Shukla in important roles.

Now, coming to 11th day, Chhichhore registered a drop of 10% or less from 2nd Friday. It was around 20% in the morning shows, 25-30% in the afternoon shows, and 60% in the evening/night shows. It has registered 18-20% in the morning, followed by 25% in the afternoon, and around 50% in the evening/night shows.

It will cross the mark of Rs 100 cr for sure, but it will be interesting to see if it can touch the mark of Rs 150 crores. It is all set to emerge as SUPER-HIT, but the question will be is it going to attain the status of BLOCKBUSTER. The collection will be on a lower side as ticket prices will be on a lower side.
