“It is with a heavy, saddened heart we must share that our brother, Benji Norton, has passed away,” the post articulated of the DJ and radio personality in his early 60s. “Always the SPIRIT of Fox, Benji filled the lives of those around him with laughter and plenty of smiles!”

Who was Benji Norton? Education and Career 

Benji Norton completed his graduation from the University of South Carolina in 1980, and since then, he has remained a part of the Fox Family. Benji’s contribution to the fox radio has only grown strong. He started his career as a Morning program director and later became a presenter on Oldies 96.3 from 1989 to 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee.

His love for Columbia bought him back in 1990, when he continued to work in an earlier job for the next 5 years. He dedicated 22 years of his life as a sales representative at Cumulus Media in 2018.
