The chapter 391 of Hunter x Hunter manga is releasing next. It has been almost half a year since the series has been on a hiatus. Despite that much time, we still don’t know when will it return again officially. Fans don’t like a too-much wait for anything, be it a manga or a TV show. (Check: Dark Season 2.)
But, it has been a different story for the fans of Togashi’s creation. His followers have seen a time when there wasn’t a single chapter for an entire year. It happened in 2015. And, it seems to be happening once again. Will it not release in 2019? Or would it come out sometime this year?
We are hoping that it may not happen again. There is one more thing that could keep the hopes of fans up. The last chapter released in late November 2018. Just a few days later, Togashi announced that he is going for an indefinite break, but promised that he will be back with Hunter x Hunter 391, and other series.
In an issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in late 2018, the series creator had written that the storyboards for the next 10 chapters have already created. He also pointed out that he will get back soon depending on various circumstances like his health. On the bright side, we know that he has already prepared content for chapter 391 through 400.
Based on the same note, several new speculations took birth. One of them is that 19 more new chapters would be released in 2019 apart from Hunter x Hunter #391. Now, it seems impossible to happen this year. Because, Togashi dropped a total of 20 chapters last year, in which first 10 were dropped within the first half of the year.
There are very less chances, but Togashi could be planning to squeeze it all in the second half of 2019 in order to match last year’s chapter count.
what a joke, everytime a new chapter comes out you have to the read the previous 10 because its been so long since the last chapter and the story is so complex its impossible to remember every little detail… ergh. people will get bored of this eventually.
