The latest Kannada film KGF has generated a lot of buzz at the box office. Let’s see how much it has earned as its 4th/5th day collection worldwide. The movie starring Yash has proven to be a strong competitor to other films at the ticket window. Besides Yash, KGF Chapter 1 stars Srinidhi Shetty in the lead role and was released on December 21, 2018, Friday. (check: zero fourth day collection.)
KGF saw an impressive opening at the box office. On the first day, it collected Rs 18.1 cr and Rs 19.20 crores on the second day. Thus, making its two days collection at Rs 37.21 crore. On 3rd day (Sunday), it earned Rs 22.40 crore and made Rs 59.61 crores on its first weekend. It seems that KGF will easily defeat Zero in terms of its lifetime collections, at least in India.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a holiday as it is Christmas Day. So, it is expected that the film would touch new heights in terms of collection figures. It is no doubt that Yash starrer is ruling the domestic box office and also faring very well in the overseas market. The upward trend is suggesting that it will continue to earn good in the first weekdays too.
As a trend, the film witnessed a little drop as today is a normal working Monday.

KGF stands for Kolar Gold Fields. Prashanth Neel has written and directed the film while Vijay Kirangandur has produced it under the banner of Hombale Films.
