The Grammy winning country music star Naomi Judd died of mental illness on April 30, 2022, at the age of 76. Naomi Judd’s funeral is planned to take place soon. Here are all the details related to her memorial service, obituary, burial, etc.

The American country singer was born on January 11, 1946 in Kentucky. Naomi is survived by her husband Larry Strickland, and two daughters – Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd. The mother-daughter duo – The Judds formed with Wynonna in 1983 went on to become a phenomenal success.

Naomi Judd was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on May 1, 2022, along with her daughter Wynonna. The duo went on to give several top 20 hits. Tens of their single became the top 10 chart-busters for almost a decade.

They also won five Grammys for their creation, and many other honors and awards. NaomiJudd was awarded the Country Song of the Year Grammy for her single Love Can Build A Bridge.

Reportedly, Naomi died near Nashville, Tennessee, though her cause of death is not yet official. There are rumors and speculations surrounding of how did Judd die (what did she die of). As per several reports, the music icon was suffering from several mental health disorder. Moreover, she was also diagnosed with hepatitis C.

The funeral and memorial pictures and other details will be out after the Naomi’s funeral. The reports say that the service will take place at First Pentecostal Assembly of God on Monday at 10 am. The burial will be held at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

  4. My condolences to Naomi Judd’s husband, daughters and family. I’ve been suffering from severe depression for years most recently it has become worse. I can tell you as a person who understands what it’s like to suffer from severe depression and anxiety that her last performance was the beginning of her downfall. It flooded her with the loss of so many things and became too overwhelming to deal with. It’s hard to explain this to people who don’t suffer from severe depression and anxiety. I feel your pain and sadness and I am very sore for your loss
