It is already clear that CW has renewed The 100 for a seventh season in the row. But, we don’t have a specific clear premiere date as of writing this. It is yet to be confirmed. The CW series is going to air in April 2020, based on the history and release trends.

In January 2019, CW President Mark Pedowitz had teased that showrunner Jason Rothenberg has some really good ideas for the seventh season, but that’s a May thing. At that time, he told that Rothenberg has a plan beyond year five, but that would be too soon for the discussion. He had hinted that the showrunner may have a six or seven year plan to it. Rothenberg also said that he had an idea for how he wanted the show to end.

The show was scalable, so that ending could have been with the end of season 3, at the end of season five, or it could with season 8. However, he also mentioned that all the decisions are not his, but it’s not a show that would run for 10 seasons, he loves the characters though.

According to Rothenberg, they tell a different story every year so that no one gets bored with it. He does have an end story for the series, but he doesn’t know when that end is going to be. Well, eventually, that will also come.

What will happen in The 100 season 7? Plot

As of now, it is quite difficult to tell what would probably happen in the seventh season of the 100. It’s because the sixth installment is still on air.

The series has been adapted from the Kass Morgan’s novels of the same name. But, the show has already taken a different direction than the original material. So, it becomes even more difficult to predict what will happen in the future.

The 100 Cast

Ofcourse, Eliza Taylor will return being the main character of the show as Clarke Griffin. Besides Taylor, Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia Blake and Bob Morley as Bellamy Blake will return for the show.

Keep your fingers because if Lindsey Morgan’s character Raven Reyes and Henry Ian Cusick’s Marcus Kane survive the sixth installment, then they would also return for the next in the series.
