Zero was one of the most anticipated film of 2018. But, it opened to mixed to negative reviews from the critics, though they appreciated the star performances. But, the film’s story and direction couldn’t impressed them. As if it wasn’t all, the movie got not-so-good word of mouth. Then, it faced competition from Kannada film KGF and in next week, Ranveer’s Simmba.

All these factors made its downfall clear at the box office. It failed to rock the BO. Its 2nd week is going to over soon, but it hasn’t been able to cross the mark of 100 cr in India. It seems as if it won’t be able to do the same in its entire lifetime run. The screen count was a big number when it released, but Simmba’s release snatched about 50% of the screens.

The VFX has been applied in a huge amount which made its budget to go on another level. There are still hopes for the film when and if it releases in China. However, it isn’t yet confirmed if it will release in China. In the film, Zero portrays the character of a vertically challenged man, Bauua Singh who is in search of his life partner.
