Netflix has renewed Queer Eye for season 4 and 5. The fourth installment of the Emmy-winning unscripted series is going to release on July 19, 2019. The streaming giant will premiere the fifth season in 2020 as its production will start next week. (Check: Altered Carbon Season 2.)

In S4, the Fab Five will be seen in Kansas City while they move to Philadelphia in season 5. The show’s season 3 premiered in March 2019. The Fab Five consists of five makeover experts – Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming), Karamo Brown (Culture), and Tan France (Fashion).

It is a reboot of Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” which premiered on Netflix in 2018. It received a tidal wave of praise, and its first three seasons have averaged a 91% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

David Collins, Michael Williams, and Rob Eric for Scout Productions are the show’s executive producers. Jennifer Lane is the showrunner and executive producer. The executive producers for ITV Entertainment are David George, Adam Sher, David Eilenberg, and Jordana Hochman.

The show updated the information/news on their official Instagram account. According to it, Johnathan, Karamo, Tan, Antoni, and Bobby will head to Kansas City, Missouri to change the lives of eight new subjects throughout the season.

If you want to see your BFF, girlfriend, or even your mom getting fabulously made-over by the Fab Five, then you can nominate them for the same. The nomination process is very simple. All you need is to your nominee’s name, contact info, photos, and story to qecasting@itv.com, if your nominee lives within an hour’s range of where they film.

They had made an announcement for the same before the season 3 via Twitter. So, we are hopeful that they would do it this time. If you haven’t watched the season 3, then you have missed out on a handful of unforgettable subjects. To name a few, it featured – Deborah and Mary Jones, the sisters who own Jones Bar-B-Q in Kansas City.

The two hard working siblings start their days at 3 am to put their daughter (and niece) through school. After their episode premiered, they sold more than 11,000 bottles of their signature BBQ sauce. It was an incredible moment for them.
