The Big Bang Theory is a sitcom which airs on CBS and Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady created it. The plot of BBT revolves around four socially awkward geek friends and the wives of three of them. When CBS renewed the show for season 11 and 12, we were hoping that the network would also revive it for season 13. But in August 2018, CBS announced that the 12th installment will be the last and final of the comedy series. With the conclusion of 12 seasons, TBBT will become the longest-running multi-camera comedy in history.

The Big Bang Theory Plot: What is it about?
By the end of season 11, Sheldon and Amy got married. Sheldon made a breakthrough in the String Theory with the concept of super-asymmetry. The two arcs will be explored more in season 12. There will be an emphasis on the post-marital life of Sheldon and Amy. The complications arise when Sheldon desire that Amy should help him with his work.
As the super-asymmetry theory gets proven, the complications arise when two scientists try to kick Amy out of her Nobel Prize nomination. As the couple, Howard and Bernadette have two kids, and parenthood takes a toll on them. They asks Stuart for help to take care of the kids. But, things turn complicated as Stuart starts inviting his girlfriend home.
Penny and Leonard start looking thoroughly towards their own family. Raj agrees for an arranged marriage. Raj’s father set him up with Anu. But, Raj catches Anu with her ex-boyfriend, and things get complicated. Zack and Marissa want to have a baby, but couldn’t owing to Zack’s infertility. So, they approach Leonard and more drama follows.
The Big Bang Theory has got the love from both the audience as well as the critics. As of 2019, it enjoys an overall score of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes and a great overall rating of 8.2/10 on IMDb.
The Big Bang Theory Season 13 Release Date: Is it happening?
The final season of The Big Bang Theory, i.e., 12, aired on September 24, 2018, and ended in May 2019. This is a bad news for the fans as Sheldon, Amy, and others won’t be making a comeback again as CBS has declared it to the last of the series.
The comedy series doesn’t get old and you can always re-watch it online. It’s because the quirky humor can hardly be a letdown.
